First Post! Woohoo!

First of all…HAPPY EASTER! May the joy and peace of the risen Christ be with you! I was originally going to post this on Holy Saturday but thought it would make more sense to do so during the Easter season. So here it is: my first post on my new blog.

Yes, I realize that there are approximately 1 guh-JILLION blogs out there offering opinions and knowledge about every topic under the sun but hey, mine will be different! OK, maybe not but hopefully it’s at least slightly useful or amusing to others.

To tell you the truth, the idea of starting a blog has been floating around in my head for a while now. I feel that I occasionally have an interesting thought, idea, opinion, or piece of design I’d like to share and this little corner of the interweb is a place where I can do just that with more freedom and independence than on your average social networking site. I’ll warn you, my grammar might be lacking and my use of smilies, gratuitous but I could post something that could interest you at some point so check back as often as you can stand. 😉
